Hello, Hei,
My name is Jill. Thanks for visiting Norway Times!
I was born in South Africa, raised in Toronto (Canada), and then spent a few years living in France. After returning to Canada in 2008, I assumed I was home for good. But love knows no borders, and in 2015 I moved to Norway to be with my Norwegian husband and begin this new Nordic adventure.
Norway Times is a collection of stories about my personal experiences of life in Norway. The things I write about are true and, I hope, sometimes funny (mostly at my expense). I want to engage and entertain you with many of the things I have found to be wonderful, weird, hilarious and intriguing about this land “north of the wall”.
I don’t post regularly, just when I have something I want to say.
Please be a part of my world! Just enter your email below to get posts sent straight to your mailbox. Magic!
Tusen takk!

Jill, I so enjoy your blog. The man in my life (also a Canadian) lives in Oslo where I (American from the US) visit frequently. He is fluent, and I do my best, but…well you know. I was going to write a bit i Norsk, but my damned American keyboard can’t put a little zero over the A, crowd together an A and E, OR put a line through an O. I look forward to reading your next post. Lynn
